How to choose your Iran circuit?

The choice depends first on duration. In 10 days, you cover the classic loop Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd, Shiraz, with one night in the desert. Our circuits of 13 to 17 days deepen your experience in each city and add a stopover like Abyaneh or a night with a local family in Garmeh. With 18 days and more, you combine the central plateau with the northwest (Tabriz, Kandovan, Armenian monasteries) or the Persian Gulf (Qeshm, Hormuz). Three weeks allow you to cross the country from north to south without rushing your encounters.

If you're unsure about the ideal duration, Afrooz can propose a test itinerary via video conference from Tehran before finalizing.

Different types of circuits

Our cultural circuits emphasize Persian history, Safavid mosques and the poetry of Hafez and Saadi. They suit travelers drawn to architecture, archaeology and museums. Our adventure circuits include hiking in the Alborz or Zagros, Damavand ascent from June to September, camel trekking across the Dasht-e Kavir and nights in Bakhtiari Bedouin camps.

To travel with children, our family circuits alternate short cultural visits, workshops (calligraphy, cooking, weaving in Kashan), nights in traditional houses and free time in Persian gardens. Distances are shortened to suit the pace of younger travelers.

What is the best season?

Iran can be visited comfortably twice a year. In spring, from April to mid-June, the central plateau reaches 20 to 28°C, gardens bloom and Qamsar roses perfume late May. In autumn, from October to mid-November, golden light enhances Isfahan's domes and the Alborz peaks are dusted with early snow. Summer is best reserved for high mountains, winter for the Persian Gulf. Avoid Norouz (around March 21), a period of national holidays when sites are crowded.
